May 28, 2024

Nashville, TN [May 28, 2024] Athlete Licensing Company (ALC), an NIL rights management company that delivers strategic NIL services and technology to Universities, Student-Athletes and Licensees, will lead a panel discussion during the 2024 NACDA Convention which is being held June 9-12 in Las Vegas.

NIL: The Money, Models, and Mayhem will be presented Tuesday, June 11 at 2:15 pm at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The session will be moderated by ALC Advisory Board Member Freddie Scott II, a former Penn State and NFL Wide Receiver, current NFL & NFL Players Association Transition Coach and Founder of Unlock the Champion. Panelists include Kevin Kennedy, President and Executive Director of California Legends Collective and Aaron Epstein, Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director for Championship Resources / Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement at Western Kentucky University.

Since its inception, the NIL environment continues to rapidly evolve. Now, to stay competitive, Athletic Departments must build sustainable NIL programs. Within this high-dollar, high-risk environment, Athletic Departments are tasked with: driving sustainable revenue, recruiting and retaining top athletes and coaches, building and optimizing assets, and managing complex revenue models. Panelists will discuss the growing challenges and opportunities that exist within each of these areas. The target audience for this session includes athletic directors, administrators involved with NIL, development, marketing, licensing, and compliance, as well coach administrators. Attendees will gain insights on best practices for navigating these complex issues and hear how the panelists are working to ensure their NIL programs thrive to empower their athletic departments to win.

The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) is the largest association of collegiate athletics administrators.
